PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Xaropain Fast Relief Gel is a topical pain-relief gel. It combines diclofenac diethylamine, an anti-inflammatory, with methyl salicylate, menthol, linseed oil and benzyl alcohol, and is used to relieve joint pain, muscle strains, back pain and knee pain.

Diclofenac works at the site of pain by blocking the COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes that produce prostaglandins, the chemicals behind pain and swelling. Methyl salicylate produces a warming, counter-irritant effect, menthol a cooling one, and benzyl alcohol soothes the skin surface. Linseed oil helps the actives pass into the skin.

Use Xaropain Gel only as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only: apply it to unbroken skin, keep it away from the eyes and mouth, and wash your hands after applying unless your hands are being treated.
